Buggy or Quad to the Sea (Makadi)
We present a unique 3–4 hour program in Hurghada, available in the morning or afternoon!
Ride buggies or quad bikes through the desert all the way to the sea, beyond the Makadi area (you can also choose the popular route to the mountains in the desert instead of Makadi).You will enjoy a beautiful and exciting route that perfectly combines desert, sand dunes, rocky coastline, and the sea!
This program is rarely offered to tourists from Hurghada, as it is slightly more expensive and not widely available… But it is definitely worth it!According to reviews, this route is even more interesting than the standard mountain trip in Hurghada.

Arafatka (scarf for head and face) — available for purchase on-site for $5 (we recommend buying it in advance online for about $1–2);
Dustproof goggles — available for rent or purchase on-site ($3–5).

👉 Private ride option +$25 (regardless of the number of people, transfer to the safari base is shared).
⚠️ Important! Driving a quad or buggy is allowed from the age of 14 (can be discussed individually on site). Children under 6 are not permitted on the tour.
What’s Included in the Tour Program:
Transfer from your hotel to the safari base around 08:30 or 13:00
(exact time confirmed after booking; drive to Makadi takes about 30–50 minutes depending on hotel location);
Safety briefing and instructions on how to operate a buggy or quad bike;
Programs №1 & №3: Ride on buggy or quad for about 1.5–2 hours
(route includes stops for rest and photos). Actual riding time ~60–70 minutes;
Program №2: Buggy ride for about 1.5 hours
(with a stop at a Bedouin village + tea). Actual riding time ~60 minutes;
Camel ride and photo opportunity;
Program №2: Dinner and show program at the safari base (evening tour only);
Return transfer back to your hotel around 12:00 or 16:30/17:30
(depending on the program).
