El Gouna

El Gouna is a unique resort located on the Red Sea coast, 22 kilometers north of Hurghada. It is often called the “Venice of Egypt” — and for good reason: the resort is spread across numerous islands connected by lagoons. This creates an incredible atmosphere, where water surrounds you everywhere and waterways replace the streets.

Architecture

The architecture of El Gouna is a blend of traditional Arabic style and modern comfort. The buildings are low-rise, painted in warm sandy tones, with domes and arches that create a cozy and fairytale-like atmosphere.

Canals

Instead of roads, there are crystal-clear canals. You can move along them on small boats called “taxi boats,” while enjoying the beauty of the villas and gardens.

Islands

Every villa, every hotel is its own little island. This gives the resort a special charm and a sense of seclusion.

Romantic Escape

El Gouna is the perfect destination for those seeking peace and romance. In the evening, when the lights come on, the resort transforms. A yacht trip under the starry sky, dinner at a lagoon-side restaurant — all of this creates an unforgettable atmosphere that makes you fall in love with this place at first sight.

  • Transfers from Hurghada to the pier near El Gouna

  • Towel, water, swimsuit, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a power bank for charging your phone

  • Warm clothes during the winter season, as it can be windy

  • We also recommend bringing your own mask and snorkel (they are also available on the yacht)

What’s Included in the Excursion Program:

  • Hotel transfer to the meeting point around 08:00 (exact time confirmed after booking; transfer to the port takes 20–60 minutes depending on hotel location).

  • Boarding a yacht or bus near El Gouna (the program may begin either from the sea or from the city).

  • Boat trip through the canals of El Gouna, also known as the “Egyptian Venice.”

  • Short walk along the waterfront area with a stop at a bar (drinks and ice cream $2–5).

  • Boarding the yacht and enjoying a seafood lunch (buffet style).

  • Semi-submarine ride (seascope) along coral reefs to observe marine flora and fauna.

  • Banana boat and tube ride.

  • Open sea stop for snorkeling with mask and fins at a coral reef.

  • Cruise through Dolphin Bay, with a high probability of seeing these graceful animals.

  • Return to the pier around 16:00 (time may vary slightly).

The order of the program may change depending on the guide’s decision and city time restrictions.
